After celebrating baptisms together, everyone is invited to join us for a church picnic on Sunday, August 30th! Last month we gathered for barbecue at the church pool, but this time we’ll be heading to Washington Park’s Sunset Beach for an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun right after baptism is over.
Whether you’re being baptized, cheering on those taking this next step of faith, or simply looking to connect with your church family, meet us there! Hot dogs and drinks will be provided; feel free to bring a side dish, chips, or dessert to share … or a fun outdoor game. If you’re unable to join us for the morning but would still like to be part of the fellowship, come on out to the park beginning at 2:00 pm.
