It’s time to start thinking about our Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry. July is the perfect time to stock up on school supplies, when stores are offering great back-to-school deals, making the most budget-friendly time to buy. Items like crayons, pens, pencils, glue sticks, scissors, and notebooks are much more affordable now, and are a big blessing to the children who receive them. So be sure to pick up a few extra supplies while you’re out shopping this month. Every pack of pencils helps Samaritan’s Purse share God’s love in a practical way around the world. Shoeboxes will be available later in the fall to fill up and return in November.
