We’ll miss out on all the good in pain if we believe it’s meant for earthly agony and not for eternal empowerment.
If we can hang on to our faith as the storms keep raging, the adversity will expose what we trust and it will prove whether it’s trustworthy.
When we faithfully follow the clues of this world, we realize we are travelers away from our heavenly home, and the aches of our existence show we’re homesick!
Viewing faith as a satisfying series of victory laps, rather than a grueling struggle to the finish line, brings a fulfilling feeling of satisfaction.
Even our most compelling cravings won’t come to fruition if they feel like a challenging chore.
Does your daily faith feel enticing? That should be the goal, because our most appealing options become our most consistent choices.
Faith often fails not because it was intentionally abandoned, but just because it was accidentally forgotten.
We can use the force of habit to produce the action of faith – so that our simple daily routines lead us into God’s presence.
God’s always speaking loud and clear – we just need to lower the volume of everything else.
