On Sunday, February 1st from noon to 4:00 pm, His Place will host a Point In Time (PIT) Census pop-up, and we’re inviting our church family to step into a powerful moment of care. The Point In Time Census is a count of individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. The information gathered directly impacts funding, resources, and support services for our neighbors who are most vulnerable. This is one small afternoon that can create lasting ripple effects.
Volunteers are needed to help with preparing and cooking food, serving meals, distributing care packages, and completing census interviews. Training is provided for all roles. What’s most needed is a willing heart and a posture of compassion. This is a tangible way to live out our calling to love “the least of these” with dignity, presence, and care.
