What’s so amazing about the R-rated testimony of Joseph, is that even though he’s repeatedly victimized, he refuses to play the victim.
Like Joseph, we’re being refined and strengthened to appreciate blessings and resist temptations.
Joseph avoids being murdered by his brothers. However, his deliverance is by way of enslavement. Hard to see that as an upgrade, unless you’re in the pit.
Joseph’s horrific journey highlights God’s purpose, peace, and power against a dark backdrop of abuse, neglect, and abandonment.
It’s in the emptiness, when it feels like God is least at work, that He’s most at work, preparing you and the timing for your created purpose.
At the cross, one criminal’s repentance not only fulfills prophecy but brings healing to Jesus’ broken heart.
Do you want to witness to others? For most, that’s a no. But would you like to inspire others? For most, that’s a yes.
