If our Savior could endure the hostility of the cross, certainly we can train ourselves to endure the hostility of cross words from infuriating friends and family.

Ever feel completely incapable of forgiving certain people? How is it even possible to love your enemy?

We tend to see things the way we want, even when it’s wrong. But my truth only works until it collides with THE truth.

Jesus wants to walk us through the storms. Because with Him, it’s all about the adventure of training and stretching and testing.

Jesus disappointed both Matthias and Judas; one aspired and the other expected. Aspirations rise high above disappointment; but expectations tend to drop dead.

Beware: Even the best of believers can carelessly practice what Jesus calls pagan-like prayer.

God calls us to pray, and offers a junior partnership role. So we best know how He expects us to partner up in prayer.
