If we don’t balance our Heavenly Father’s intimacy and authority, we’ll see Him as either an indulgent uncle or a harsh, intolerant, force of nature.

We can’t open our own minds to anything but futility, foolishness, and hopeless darkness. But, we can renew our minds with truth on God’s terms.

A defiled dollar bill still retains all of its undefiled value. As do you. Its value comes from something far greater than itself: its maker. As does yours.

The world defines success by circumstances. The more comfy your current conditions, the more successful you are. But, God defines success by our trust in Him, and our care for others.

The next time you’re sent blindly groping for answers, know that you’re part of a grand plan. And know that He knows you by name.

Joining a church isn’t about compensation or convenience; it’s about a conviction to advance a Kingdom. So the fundamental question isn’t, “How do I join?” but, “Are we a fit?” … and “Why would I?”

How do you taste? Hopefully like an honest-to-goodness insider. A good egg. Because you are the letter the Lord is writing to those around you.

Jesus is both our Defender and Judge! But you know what He’s not? Our prosecutor. That job falls to the accuser.
