Beware: Even the best of believers can carelessly practice what Jesus calls pagan-like prayer.

God calls us to pray, and offers a junior partnership role. So we best know how He expects us to partner up in prayer.

God has given us His good name, and left us in charge of hallowing it in the eyes of our world.

If we don’t balance our Heavenly Father’s intimacy and authority, we’ll see Him as either an indulgent uncle or a harsh, intolerant, force of nature.

We can’t open our own minds to anything but futility, foolishness, and hopeless darkness. But, we can renew our minds with truth on God’s terms.

A defiled dollar bill still retains all of its undefiled value. As do you. Its value comes from something far greater than itself: its maker. As does yours.

The world defines success by circumstances. The more comfy your current conditions, the more successful you are. But, God defines success by our trust in Him, and our care for others.

The next time you’re sent blindly groping for answers, know that you’re part of a grand plan. And know that He knows you by name.
