We tend to see things the way we want, even when it’s wrong. But my truth only works until it collides with THE truth.

You know why He leaves us down here after we’re saved? To make those two true confessions. So, how beautiful are your feet?

How does your belief go beyond the demons’? What makes your declaration of faith any different from the demons’?

Jesus wants to walk us through the storms. Because with Him, it’s all about the adventure of training and stretching and testing.

Jesus disappointed both Matthias and Judas; one aspired and the other expected. Aspirations rise high above disappointment; but expectations tend to drop dead.

Beware: Even the best of believers can carelessly practice what Jesus calls pagan-like prayer.

God calls us to pray, and offers a junior partnership role. So we best know how He expects us to partner up in prayer.

God has given us His good name, and left us in charge of hallowing it in the eyes of our world.

If we don’t balance our Heavenly Father’s intimacy and authority, we’ll see Him as either an indulgent uncle or a harsh, intolerant, force of nature.
