How do you open your heart to Jesus? How do you actually open up your heart to allow Him not only to come in, but to establish His kingdom within?
God doesn’t encourage sin; but He does expose and exploit sin. He can use it for good … if we’re willing to hear Him out.
The Great Commission calls us to stand tall and go fishin’! And when folks see the shining proof of your faith in the form of peace in your daily trials – they’ll bite.
We’ll miss out on all the good in pain if we believe it’s meant for earthly agony and not for eternal empowerment.
If we can hang on to our faith as the storms keep raging, the adversity will expose what we trust and it will prove whether it’s trustworthy.
Don’t expect God to calm the storm. Expect Him to calm your troubled heart in the storm, and trust that it must be this way.
